last day on the art and architecture trail

The wirksworth festival holds an art and architecture trail on the first weekend of the festival every september so today I went with mummy to look at other exhibitions and gave out postcards to all the visitors to let them know about the australian pavilion exhibition. The eco centre where our exhibition is, is up the hill from town so not everyone knows the art exhibition is there so we are telling them. We get to meet a lot of people this way too!

We also drove to buxton today to drop harrie to the train station, she is going to venice for the bienale and to celebrate her birthday with her sister. i will miss her as harrie is my friend. She is a sculpturer and lives in oberon with her horses and her dog. This photo of her work is from her website harriefasher.com.au

We then met a boy called will in the churchyard and played and run around. His dad is a fireman and they live on wirksworth. we had met them both at the flag painting workshop last week

We visited the young graduate artists exhibition space and had glass of sparkling fruit juice at the artists welcome event. I inspected a couple of the works up close, wanting to know how they 'worked'.

Till next time.
Leo
