Our journey began with a drive from the farm to Sydney followed by an aeroplane flight from Sydney to Bangkok, Thailand, from Bangkok to Dubai, United Arab Emirates and then Athens, Greece where we rested and recovered for day or two to then take the final leg of the journey from Athens to Manchester, United Kingdom and a drive to Wirksworth, Derbyshire where we will be for two weeks.
During the many flights I asked our pilots and co-pilots to sign my log book and on the last flight to the UK I was invited to the cockpit and was able to operate the aeroplane controls. Thank you Captain Burch!
